Happy FRIYAY! We made it through this hot hot hot week in Columbus. I am shooting a wedding today, but first I have to share Courtney and Andy's summer Beauty and the Beast inspired engagement session! Courtney is obsessed with all things Disney, which makes me love her even more, because ME TOO. This shoot was so much at the Park of Roses! See if you can spot all the special Beauty and Best touches!Read More
My last wedding of 2017 was amazing! Oh, I love these two!
Susan and Michael were married at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, our home church! Oh my goodness, we had the most wonderful snowfall and I’m so glad Susan and Michael and their bridal party agreed to jump out for some quick photos in the snow.Read More
Sooo… It’s spring and it’s still cold. When Charissa told me she wanted summery photos, in the winter, I was like… uhmmm, girl…. It’s winter… But, challenge accepted! Charissa had her heart set on Franklin Park Conservatory and I am so glad she wanted to go here because, voila! We got summer photos in the winter. Last Friday, we arrived 45 minutes before FPC closed and so we got in and got out and it was incredible! Super thankful for this wonderful little treasure of a place right here in Columbus. AND, Charissa and Dan are basically models. They took direction so easily and sometimes I didn’t even have to cue their poses. They are actually just naturally this cute together.Read More
Half way to Friyay! There are only a couple more days until the weekend. I am celebrating over here by sharing an engagement session I shot this past weekend!
We originally had scheduled September and James’ engagement session for Saturday evening, but we switched to Sunday morning since it rained all day on Saturday. I was super excited for a sunrise session… until I walked out of my house into the densest fog I’ve ever seen around here! Visibility was basically zero and I knew I wouldn’t be getting that awesome sunlight from the sunrise I had hoped for. BUT we made it work! Shooting in the fog ended up being really beautiful. We ventured around down to the river and back up to capitol square.Read More
Happy snopocalypse Friday, friends! Since the weather channels are telling us we are going to get a boat load of snow this evening (Or no snow? What? So confused.), I wanted to share with you my first engagement shoot from 2018 because we had snow!
I met up with Kelly & Vince last year to talk about wedding photography and their plans for the big day. Kelly told me I had actually shot her nephew’s senior pictures, which was so cool because when families come back for photos, it is the biggest compliment for me.Read More
Yay! It's MAY! Flowers may be beginning to bloom, but I'm throwing it back to a cold engagement sessions from this past winter! I am so excited to share Susan and Michael's engagement photos with you guys today!
I go to church with Susan and Michael! They were introduced by a wonderful woman who attends our church, too! These two are so much fun! I love their silly, sweet kind of love.Read More
Deanna reached out to me last year while finishing up school in Pensacola! I didn't even know this was a place until Deanna. (Don't judge- I don't get out of Ohio much!) I had a tremendously long day and was an entire hour late for our first phone call. Deanna was literally the kindest and most understanding person ever about it. Still, I was certain there was no way she would hire me after my ridiculous tardiness! I am so thankful she still did because she is hands down one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I am so excited for her and Sean's Ohio Statehouse wedding this summer!Read More
