It’s Wedding Wednesday! I am so happy to be sharing Erin & Kyle’s engagement photos from Franklin Park Conservatory with you today! Kyle actually had me shoot their proposal, and this is so special to get to photograph their engagement and their wedding next Spring!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday, everybody! Oh my goodness, we are so excited to share this engagement session with you guys today.
Emily is from Ohio and Dave is from Connecticut, and they actually met while Emily was a traveling nurse in Connecticut. Emily and Dave both told me when they met that they were not really looking for a serious relationship; Emily didn’t plan on staying in Connecticut for too long… but… before long they began to fall for each other. Totally unbeknownst to Emily, Dave planned out the details and asked Emily to marry him while they were on a cruise this past winter! They are back here in Ohio now!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday… erm… Thursday! Guys, my internet went down yesterday, so Wedding Wednesday has been moved to today! My last engagement session of the year (I feel like I’ve said this at least twice now…) and I am in love with this one!
Brandie & Travis are both nurses from Nelsonville and when Brandie reached out to let me know their wedding would be in SE Ohio… ahhh I was so happy! My kind of people.
I love getting to know the stories of my couples. This is why wedding and engagement photography is my passion. Your stories are my favorite! Brandie was telling me how much she and Travis have loved vacationing in Mexico while they were dating. On a recent trip, Travis was planning to propose and Brandie kept trying to change their plans, even ax the bag containing her future engagement ring (to make things easier, of course)! Travis managed to keep everything on track though and obviously succeeded with his master plan!Read More
Wedding Wednesday is back! At least for a couple more rounds this year. I am so excited for all of my 2019 couples!! It’s going to be an incredible year.
I typically do not shoot on Sundays unless I need to use it as a rain make-up date, but Nick is in the military and was only home for a few days over Thanksgiving break, so we made it work!
Baileigh and Nick were married this past summer in an intimate backyard wedding. Click here to reminisce their sweet wedding day! These two knew they didn’t want to wait any longer to get married, so they did it as soon as they could, surrounded by their closest family and friends. They are planning on having a big celebration next year and I am so excited to be photographing that as well!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Kelly and Tyler’s engagement session on the blog! Oh guys, I this night was so beautiful and Kelly and Tyler were so amazing in front of the camera!
Kelly and Tyler went to the same school, but they didn’t really know each other until their dads decided to set them up several years later! That’s right, their dads set them up: the cutest thing ever. They got engaged this past summer as the sun was setting on the beach!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday!! I’m sharing an engagement session with you guys today. As soon as I got Emily’s email, I was so excited for this couple. Emily and Damien are both from Lancaster, so I knew they would be my kind of Fairfield County people!
Emily and Damien met while they were attending high school at Fischer Catholic High School in Lancaster. They both went to school at Miami University and last Thanksgiving, Damien proposed! He planned for his family to go out to their backyard to take a family photo, but really the plan was to propose! Emily was so surprised! He even had Emily's whole family hiding on the side of the house so that they could watch too. Emily had no idea until she said she heard them clapping and cheering behind her! Isn't that so sweet and amazing?!Read More
Happy FRIYAY! We made it through this hot hot hot week in Columbus. I am shooting a wedding today, but first I have to share Courtney and Andy's summer Beauty and the Beast inspired engagement session! Courtney is obsessed with all things Disney, which makes me love her even more, because ME TOO. This shoot was so much at the Park of Roses! See if you can spot all the special Beauty and Best touches!Read More
Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Hannah and Matt’s engagement session with you! Oh my goodness, this world can be so crazy small sometimes. I had known of Hannah from the ice rink- she went to Ohio State and skated there, where I had directed some shows! We were facebook friends but had never really met. Here’s the crazy part: Remember Lainey & Matias? I shot their wedding a couple of weeks ago and they will be on the blog next week! Hannah is Matias’ cousin and contacted me after seeing their engagement photos!
I was finally able to formally meet Hannah and Matt at Lainey and Matias’ wedding. Hannah is going to law school out of state right now and Matt is also out of the state working. These two both attended Ohio State for their undergrad and that’s where it all began!Read More
Wedding Wednesday is here again and this time I am sharing Kevin & Sheila's engagement session! We had planned to do these photos downtown one evening, but it rained, so we rescheduled to a Sunday, and my sweet friends were willing to drive out to Pickerington for their photos! I am SO glad they did! We had the most beautiful evening with the most incredible light. Kevin was so totally not about doing the engagement photos, which makes me laugh so much looking at him smiling so big at his gorgeous finance!
Kevin & Sheila began working on the same exact day at The Ohio House of Representatives four years ago. Isn't that crazy?? They ended up spending a lot of time together through their work and enjoyed each others friendship, but deep down they both knew there was more. Last year, they decided to give the dating thing a shot. I loved seeing Sheila so happy. The boy I knew as the nice guy with the cool socks was turning out to be the one my sweet friend had been waiting for. Early this spring, Kevin took Sheila back to the place where it all began. He took her on a tour of the Statehouse cupola (which is super duper cool if you love history). He proposed up there and they signed their names on the wall to mark the spot where they were engaged!Read More
