Good morning! Today I am sharing another senior session on the blog! I cannot tell you how awesome it is that my clients return again and again for photos. I shot Chris’ brother Caleb’s senior portraits a couple of years ago and I was so happy their mom reached out to me again for Chris’ portraits!Read More
Happy FriYAY!! My first senior of 2019 is on the blog!! I was going to wait to share this session until next week, but today is so dreary, and these images remind me of the sunshine and dreamy light we had earlier this week. They brightened my day, and I hope they’ll brighten yours! I have to confess though, I was wearing a winter coat when these were shot on Monday, and sweet Amber’s teeth were chattering!! She took the cold like a champ though, and I am so glad she braved the chilly weather and ROCKED her senior session!
I was so excited when Amber’s mom reached out to me again for photos. Originally, I wasn’t available and I was super bummed, but these guys held out (whether on purpose or not) and I am so happy we were able to make it work! I shot Amber’s sister’s senior photos a couple of years ago. Do you remember Kaycie’s session? Kaycie did Amber’s makeup for her session! Just like her sister, Amber’s model face game is STRONG. Seriously I didn’t even have to prompt Amber to get these fierce looks.Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday, everybody! Oh my goodness, we are so excited to share this engagement session with you guys today.
Emily is from Ohio and Dave is from Connecticut, and they actually met while Emily was a traveling nurse in Connecticut. Emily and Dave both told me when they met that they were not really looking for a serious relationship; Emily didn’t plan on staying in Connecticut for too long… but… before long they began to fall for each other. Totally unbeknownst to Emily, Dave planned out the details and asked Emily to marry him while they were on a cruise this past winter! They are back here in Ohio now!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Brittney and Trey’s engagement shoot from Homestead Park! I love shooting at this park. I rarely do because it is about 45 minutes away, but I was so happy to drive out for this gorgeous couple!
Brittney and Trey met on a soccer league team. Trey was on the team with one of Brittney’s friends and she asked Brittney if she would like to join too. Such a sweet story to how they met! My favorite part of their story though is the engagement. Trey had to work hard to get Brittney to the zoo. It seemed like everything was working against him that evening, but he finally convinced Brittney that they had to go because there was a special exhibit with penguins going on that evening (sadly, this was not true haha). Trey took Brittney on a walk through “North America” and to her surprise, he proposed at the bottom of the polar bear exhibit! If you know the Columbus Zoo and you’re an animal lover, you can imagine how beautiful and romantic this was, especially for two animal lovers!
Wedding Wednesday is here again and this time I am sharing Kevin & Sheila's engagement session! We had planned to do these photos downtown one evening, but it rained, so we rescheduled to a Sunday, and my sweet friends were willing to drive out to Pickerington for their photos! I am SO glad they did! We had the most beautiful evening with the most incredible light. Kevin was so totally not about doing the engagement photos, which makes me laugh so much looking at him smiling so big at his gorgeous finance!
Kevin & Sheila began working on the same exact day at The Ohio House of Representatives four years ago. Isn't that crazy?? They ended up spending a lot of time together through their work and enjoyed each others friendship, but deep down they both knew there was more. Last year, they decided to give the dating thing a shot. I loved seeing Sheila so happy. The boy I knew as the nice guy with the cool socks was turning out to be the one my sweet friend had been waiting for. Early this spring, Kevin took Sheila back to the place where it all began. He took her on a tour of the Statehouse cupola (which is super duper cool if you love history). He proposed up there and they signed their names on the wall to mark the spot where they were engaged!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday! My second wedding of 2018 was so so so beautiful and I loved every moment from Charissa and Dan's big day! I drove out to Centerville to Benham's Grove, a gorgeous 19th century farm house to photograph their wedding day. Y'all know me and I was in H E A V E N in this house. This was my first time shooting here, and so it was so much fun to explore the grounds!
I absolutely adored the mermaid dress, teal colors, and all the pineapples! Every detail was perfect and we felt the southern charm! It felt like a little bit of Florida had come to Ohio, and it had- Charissa is from Florida! It has been so hot and rainy here lately, but we were blessed with a wonderful day!Read More
Good morning! Today I am sharing Molly & Chris' engagement session. These two are getting married in less than two months! I am so excited to be headed back to The Pinnacle in Grove City for their big day!
Molly & Chris met at a concert. Molly's friend had told her about one of the guys that would be at the concert: Chris. I asked if this was like a blind date for them, but Chris said he didn't know that Molly would be there. No matter, because obviously these two hit it off and were were meant to be!
