Happy FriYAY! This past week, we photographed part of Collin’s senior photos! I love this family so much! I shot his brother Bryce’s senior photos two years ago and was thrilled when their mom reached out for Collin’s session too!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Allyson & Frank’s Pinnacle Golf Club wedding photos. The navy, burgundy, and blush details of their day are so swoon-worthy! I love this Ohio Northern University love story!
Both the ceremony and the reception were at Pinnacle and it was so convenient because we didn’t need to travel between venues, which meant more time for photos! It was threatening rain on and off all afternoon, but it held off for photos and the cloud coverage gave us the most beautiful even light! If you remember their engagement photos, we worked with the rain then too despite the dark clouds and decided to go with it anyways!Read More
Wedding Wednesday is back and I am super excited to share Maggie and Peter’s wedding day at the Ohio History Connection!
I met Maggie and Peter when I shot Maggie’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding last year! I could tell you all about how Maggie and Peter met, when he proposed, and how perfect it all was, but I will spare you my version of the stories and take you straight to their wedding website! They are seriously so sweet and perfect and I love all of the hilarious moments that occurred from the first date to the proposal! If you want to read all about it, click here!Read More
Hey y’all! So… I typically post previews of families the evening or morning after a portrait session. I LOVE this family and I was so happy to see them again. As soon as their session began, I could feel a migraine coming on- this humid Ohio weather has been really messing with me. I made it through their portrait session just fine, especially with all the laughter! Although both of my parents are introverts, somehow I managed to be an extrovert and this family gave me energy! On the drive home though, I could feel my head getting heavier and my vision starting to go. By the time I walked into my living room, the tv screen my husband was watching was a complete blur. Andrew turned off all the lights, I took some medicine and went straight to bed and completely forgot to post a sneak of this amazing family. So today I reserved a special spot on the blog for them!
Wednesdays are normally for weddings (it’s the most viewed post of the week lol!), but not today! This sweet family is crashing Wedding Wednesday and I couldn’t be happier to share their smiling faces!Read More
Good Monday morning everybody! It is always such an honor when clients return for more photos, especially my couples! When Megan reached out to me about family photos, I was so excited! I always say it’s one thing to impress the bride, but it’s another to impress the family! So, when Megan’s whole family was up for portraits, I was so happy because I know that means that they loved the images from Megan and Aaron’s wedding too!
I shot Megan and Aaron’s wedding last summer and their engagement photos the year before! I absolutely love the relationships that I have with my clients. God has seriously blessed me by introducing me to some incredible families through this business. These family photos include Megan’s immediate family, with her parents and brothers and sister who I remember well from their wedding day, along with her sister’s sweet new baby girl, and her aunt and uncles and their beautiful children, and even her adorable grandparents (seriously, they are a d o r a b l e !)!Read More
Happy Independence Day! It's Wedding Wednesday as well and I am so happy to be sharing Lainey & Matias' wedding! Going into this day, I already knew it would be beyond perfect because Lainey & Matias are two of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever met. I was so excited to see their wedding day planning all come together on their big day! Lainey loved purple and I love how she incorporated this so beautifully into her wedding day.Read More
Oh my goodness! How is March already coming to an end? Happy Friday, you guys. I am so excited for this year. My second shooter and I have been taking the off season to step back and look at what we've been doing, how far we have come, and we have been taking education classes so that we can continue to give brides and grooms, families, and seniors the best photography experience and photos that we can provide. I am a firm believer that we can never stop growing and learning. So get ready, 2018! It's about to be an incredible year!
But enough of me! Today I'm sharing the McCoy family with you all. I actually shot Sam's maternity photos and I was so excited when she reached out to me to take family photos and one year photos of sweet little Henry! Oh, I just love these guys! Sam brought along some props and we just set up shop in Blacklick Park and had so much fun! I love seeing Sam and Josh as parents now, with Henry on this side of Sam's belly! The way this family looks at each other is so warm, you can see there is so much love between the three of them!Read More
Happy Monday! Is it ever really a happy Monday? Where did the weekend go? Well I hope to brighten up your day with this amazing couple! Meet Kelly & Trent! They were a dream to photograph, at my favorite place on earth! I seriously cannot wait for their September wedding.
For their engagement session, Kelly trusted me to shoot in my hometown. It's my favorite! I know the light and I knew the beautiful scenery would be the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous couple. They drove all the way down from Sunbury! Sooo thankful when my clients trust me like this!
Kelly and Trent brought along their sweet as can be puppy Napoleon! Oh, they make the perfect little family! These two are high school sweethearts and I know their wedding is going to be amazing!Read More
Sooo… It’s spring and it’s still cold. When Charissa told me she wanted summery photos, in the winter, I was like… uhmmm, girl…. It’s winter… But, challenge accepted! Charissa had her heart set on Franklin Park Conservatory and I am so glad she wanted to go here because, voila! We got summer photos in the winter. Last Friday, we arrived 45 minutes before FPC closed and so we got in and got out and it was incredible! Super thankful for this wonderful little treasure of a place right here in Columbus. AND, Charissa and Dan are basically models. They took direction so easily and sometimes I didn’t even have to cue their poses. They are actually just naturally this cute together.Read More
