If you know Rob and Alyssa, you know that these two actually got married on Saturday!! Since Rob is in the Navy, we didn’t have the opportunity to do engagement photos until last week though, but we got them done! Guys, I LOVE these two!

Rob and Alyssa met three years ago while interning at The Ohio House of Representatives. A friendship soon turned into an incredible love story. Rob joined the Navy after graduating from college but that did not keep these two apart! Last Christmas, Rob had planned to propose at Park of Roses with all the stringy lights up, but the lights didn’t go up last year, so he and Alyssa went to Easton, where they took a romantic walk through the lights and when they got to the big Christmas tree, Rob got down on one knee!

Happy Wedding Wednesday!! I’m sharing an engagement session with you guys today. As soon as I got Emily’s email, I was so excited for this couple. Emily and Damien are both from Lancaster, so I knew they would be my kind of Fairfield County people!

Emily and Damien met while they were attending high school at Fischer Catholic High School in Lancaster. They both went to school at Miami University and last Thanksgiving, Damien proposed! He planned for his family to go out to their backyard to take a family photo, but really the plan was to propose! Emily was so surprised! He even had Emily's whole family hiding on the side of the house so that they could watch too. Emily had no idea until she said she heard them clapping and cheering behind her! Isn't that so sweet and amazing?!

Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Allyson & Frank’s Pinnacle Golf Club wedding photos. The navy, burgundy, and blush details of their day are so swoon-worthy! I love this Ohio Northern University love story!

Both the ceremony and the reception were at Pinnacle and it was so convenient because we didn’t need to travel between venues, which meant more time for photos! It was threatening rain on and off all afternoon, but it held off for photos and the cloud coverage gave us the most beautiful even light! If you remember their engagement photos, we worked with the rain then too despite the dark clouds and decided to go with it anyways!

Wedding Wednesday is back and I am super excited to share Maggie and Peter’s wedding day at the Ohio History Connection!

I met Maggie and Peter when I shot Maggie’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding last year! Happy FriYAY! Last post of the week for portraits then it’s on to weddings until October! I shot Jimmy’s senior portraits Monday evening at Sunny 95 Park in Upper Arlington. It is crazy how fast time goes by. I met Jimmy when he was just starting high school and now he’s already graduating!

I knew this session was going to be fun because Jimmy is a CHARACTER. We know the Stravidis family from church and they are such an incredible family. I shot Jimmy's sister Maria's senior photos too! My husband coached basketball so we got to know Jimmy a bit more through GOYA. GOYA is Greek Orthodox Youth Association, and, yeah, they play basketball. You may think it’s all fun and games, but find yourself at a GOYA tournament and you’ll quickly realize it’s very serious. Desite all the times Jimmy messed with Andrew at basketball practice and during tournaments, I have to say he really is an all-around wonderful kid.

Hey y’all! So… I typically post previews of families the evening or morning after a portrait session. I LOVE this family and I was so happy to see them again. As soon as their session began, I could feel a migraine coming on- this humid Ohio weather has been really messing with me. I made it through their portrait session just fine, especially with all the laughter! Although both of my parents are introverts, somehow I managed to be an extrovert and this family gave me energy! On the drive home though, I could feel my head getting heavier and my vision starting to go. By the time I walked into my living room, the tv screen my husband was watching was a complete blur. Andrew turned off all the lights, I took some medicine and went straight to bed and completely forgot to post a sneak of this amazing family. So today I reserved a special spot on the blog for them!

Wednesdays are normally for weddings (it’s the most viewed post of the week lol!), but not today! This sweet family is crashing Wedding Wednesday and I couldn’t be happier to share their smiling faces!

Wedding Wednesday. The best day of the week. And today's wedding is so special for me to share because it is my sweet friend's! When Sheila asked me to be her and Kevin's wedding photographer, I seriously had tears. It was such an honor for me to be there on there big day.

Sheila and Kevin were glowing with JOY on this hot hot hot Sunday in mid-July. They married at So Serene in Wapakoneta. This venue is so beautiful. You feel like you're in a different state once you're at the venue, but the drive in and drive out are all cornfields! It's almost comical, but it was a dream to shoot at this venue!

Wedding Wednesday! My favorite because I get to share so much pretty with you! A few weeks ago, I was able to photograph the backyard wedding of my friend’s little sister, who is very obviously not at all a little girl anymore!

I met Baileigh when she was twelve years old. I spent many college summer days over at my friend Bethany’s house and her family soon became like a second family to me. When Baileigh told me she was getting married, I broke out in HIVES y’all, like some kind of crazy.

Happy Wedding Wednesday once again! I am so happy to be sharing Molly and Chris' big day with you all. So many special moments went into this day and I am sharing my favorites below!

Molly began her day with her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents' home. Chis and the guys got ready at the church. This was my first time shooting at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Grove City. This church is beautiful! There were so many special moments throughout the day. Molly's dress reveal with her maids and her dad nearly had me in tears. She is just gorgeous! Molly and Chris exchanged gifts and letters before their ceremony, they held hands, but did not see one another. I loved watching Chris' grin as he watched Molly walk down the aisle!
