We arrived just around the same time Flowers of the Good Earth brought in the florals and bouquets, and around the same time Emily’s mom arrived with all the details, and wecouldn’t wait to begin photographing all the pretty!

Happy Wedding Wednesday!! I’m sharing an engagement session with you guys today. As soon as I got Emily’s email, I was so excited for this couple. Emily and Damien are both from Lancaster, so I knew they would be my kind of Fairfield County people!
Emily and Damien met while they were attending high school at Fischer Catholic High School in Lancaster. They both went to school at Miami University and last Thanksgiving, Damien proposed! He planned for his family to go out to their backyard to take a family photo, but really the plan was to propose! Emily was so surprised! He even had Emily's whole family hiding on the side of the house so that they could watch too. Emily had no idea until she said she heard them clapping and cheering behind her! Isn't that so sweet and amazing?!
