Kelly and Tyler went to the same school, but they didn’t really know each other until their dads decided to set them up several years later! That’s right, their dads set them up: the cutest thing ever. They got engaged this past summer as the sun was setting on the beach!

Hello, hello! I’m so happy the fall weather is finally here. Guys, it was an extraordinarily hot summer for this wedding photographer. Happy Wedding Wednesday!! So excited to share all of my favorites from Jenn and Kyle’s wedding with you today! September has been so crazy and I haven’t been posting on social media as much and sharing as many previews, but today the blog includes so much pretty!!
Jenn and Kyle are so much fun! I’ve loved getting to know them. They are such a sweet couple. They were married at Vue Columbus on what was one of the hottest days of the year (or at least it felt like it!). We did most of their portraits prior to the ceremony since they opted for a first look! Jenn was stunning in her gown and Kyle’s reaction was so perfect. I love how he makes her laugh! Their happiness is contagious.

If you know Rob and Alyssa, you know that these two actually got married on Saturday!! Since Rob is in the Navy, we didn’t have the opportunity to do engagement photos until last week though, but we got them done! Guys, I LOVE these two!
Rob and Alyssa met three years ago while interning at The Ohio House of Representatives. A friendship soon turned into an incredible love story. Rob joined the Navy after graduating from college but that did not keep these two apart! Last Christmas, Rob had planned to propose at Park of Roses with all the stringy lights up, but the lights didn’t go up last year, so he and Alyssa went to Easton, where they took a romantic walk through the lights and when they got to the big Christmas tree, Rob got down on one knee!

Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Allyson & Frank’s Pinnacle Golf Club wedding photos. The navy, burgundy, and blush details of their day are so swoon-worthy! I love this Ohio Northern University love story!
Both the ceremony and the reception were at Pinnacle and it was so convenient because we didn’t need to travel between venues, which meant more time for photos! It was threatening rain on and off all afternoon, but it held off for photos and the cloud coverage gave us the most beautiful even light! If you remember their engagement photos, we worked with the rain then too despite the dark clouds and decided to go with it anyways!

Wedding Wednesday is back and I am super excited to share Maggie and Peter’s wedding day at the Ohio History Connection!
I met Maggie and Peter when I shot Maggie’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding last year! I could tell you all about how Maggie and Peter met, when he proposed, and how perfect it all was, but I will spare you my version of the stories and take you straight to their wedding website! Happy Wedding Wednesday once again! I am so happy to be sharing Molly and Chris' big day with you all. So many special moments went into this day and I am sharing my favorites below!
Molly began her day with her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents' home. Chis and the guys got ready at the church. This was my first time shooting at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Grove City. This church is beautiful! There were so many special moments throughout the day. Molly's dress reveal with her maids and her dad nearly had me in tears. She is just gorgeous! Molly and Chris exchanged gifts and letters before their ceremony, they held hands, but did not see one another. I loved watching Chris' grin as he watched Molly walk down the aisle!

Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Hannah and Matt’s engagement session with you! Oh my goodness, this world can be so crazy small sometimes. I had known of Hannah from the ice rink- she went to Ohio State and skated there, where I had directed some shows! We were facebook friends but had never really met. Here’s the crazy part: Remember Lainey & Matias? I shot their wedding a couple of weeks ago and they will be on the blog next week! Hannah is Matias’ cousin and contacted me after seeing their engagement photos!
I was finally able to formally meet Hannah and Matt at Lainey and Matias’ wedding. Hannah is going to law school out of state right now and Matt is also out of the state working. These two both attended Ohio State for their undergrad and that’s where it all began!

Wedding Wednesday is here again and this time I am sharing Kevin & Sheila's engagement session! We had planned to do these photos downtown one evening, but it rained, so we rescheduled to a Sunday, and my sweet friends were willing to drive out to Pickerington for their photos! I am SO glad they did! We had the most beautiful evening with the most incredible light. Kevin was so totally not about doing the engagement photos, which makes me laugh so much looking at him smiling so big at his gorgeous finance!
Kevin & Sheila began working on the same exact day at The Ohio House of Representatives four years ago. Isn't that crazy?? They ended up spending a lot of time together through their work and enjoyed each others friendship, but deep down they both knew there was more. Last year, they decided to give the dating thing a shot. I loved seeing Sheila so happy. The boy I knew as the nice guy with the cool socks was turning out to be the one my sweet friend had been waiting for. Early this spring, Kevin took Sheila back to the place where it all began. He took her on a tour of the Statehouse cupola (which is super duper cool if you love history). He proposed up there and they signed their names on the wall to mark the spot where they were engaged!

Good morning! Today I am sharing Molly & Chris' engagement session. These two are getting married in less than two months! I am so excited to be headed back to The Pinnacle in Grove City for their big day!
Molly & Chris met at a concert. Molly's friend had told her about one of the guys that would be at the concert: Chris. I asked if this was like a blind date for them, but Chris said he didn't know that Molly would be there. No matter, because obviously these two hit it off and were were meant to be!
