Wedding Wednesday is here again and I've got Susie and Alex's wedding on the blog today! These two are so much fun and shooting their wedding was a blast! I had Alaina from Alaina Parker Photography along as my second shooter for their day and she was so fantastic to work with!

Susie and Alex were the first couple to be married at their church (H20 Church) right here in Columbus. They had a beautiful ceremony. Susie was classically stunning in her wedding gown. We headed off to Goodale Park afterwards for portraits and even stopped at the very park bench that Alex proposed to Susie at!

These two radiated happiness all day long and they ended their perfect day (despite some rain!) at Dock 580 and danced the night away with their family and friends. Everyone was having so much fun and the party was still going strong when Alaina and I headed out!

Happy Monday! Is it ever really a happy Monday? Where did the weekend go? Well I hope to brighten up your day with this amazing couple! Meet Kelly & Trent! They were a dream to photograph, at my favorite place on earth! I seriously cannot wait for their September wedding.

For their engagement session, Kelly trusted me to shoot in my hometown. It's my favorite! I know the light and I knew the beautiful scenery would be the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous couple. They drove all the way down from Sunbury! Sooo thankful when my clients trust me like this!

Kelly and Trent brought along their sweet as can be puppy Napoleon! Oh, they make the perfect little family! These two are high school sweethearts and I know their wedding is going to be amazing!

Sooo… It’s spring and it’s still cold. When Charissa told me she wanted summery photos, in the winter, I was like… uhmmm, girl…. It’s winter… But, challenge accepted! Charissa had her heart set on Franklin Park Conservatory and I am so glad she wanted to go here because, voila! We got summer photos in the winter. Last Friday, we arrived 45 minutes before FPC closed and so we got in and got out and it was incredible! Super thankful for this wonderful little treasure of a place right here in Columbus. AND, Charissa and Dan are basically models. They took direction so easily and sometimes I didn’t even have to cue their poses. They are actually just naturally this cute together.

A little autumn in the spring! Today, I'm blogging the Reidenbach family fall photos! I was so excited when Kelly reached out to me about family pictures! Kelly is genuinely one of the nicest humans I've ever known and when I met her family, I was blown away! She and Michael have ANGEL children. Angels, you guys!

I met this sweet family at their beautiful home for a simple backyard family session and I had so much fun! Kelly's deck was decorated beautifully and the sunset peaked through just perfectly! I love that Kelly and Michael took the time to get photos of just them as well for their anniversary! The boys were able to run and play and I was able to capture them having fun in the place they call home, which makes these photos even more special.

Good morning, guys! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am enjoying my off season so much! I was able to spend Saturday with my gal pals doing some shopping and then Andrew and I went on a very "Ali & Andrew" date around town: first to O'Charley's, then Marshall's, and we ended at Barnes and Noble!

I am so excited to share Leah's senior portraits with you all today! I love my seniors so much! I had so much fun with this girl, and she is so sweet! Her smiles is so contagious and her model face is absolutely amazing! I met Leah and her mom at the Book Loft and then we ended at Scioto Audubon! She was so easy to photograph and we had a gorgeous sunset to top off all the beauty!

Sharing one more senior this week! Meet Peter. This Upper Arlington senior attends the same church as me! Peter decided he wanted his photos on the water, where he has spent many summer days with his family on their boat. It was so much fun to shoot out on the marina. We had a beautiful summer sunset.

I am so blessed to photograph such wonderful young adults. When we shot these photos last summer, Peter wasn't sure where he wanted to go to school yet, or what he would major in, but he did tell me he wanted it to be WARM! I feel ya, Pete. Ready for winter to be over!

Guys. This year, the class of 2018 graduates, which means that I graduated from high school nearly TEN years ago. How had that much time gone by?? Alexis will graduate this spring from Pickerington High School Central - Go Tigers! When we took her photos last summer, she told me she would like to attend Ohio University for her undergrad. I love how confident she was when she told me this.

Slowly but surely catching up on sharing last year's photos! I mostly shoot weddings, but I love family sessions and senior sessions! So that is what I am going to be sharing this week with you guys!

I photographed this sweet little family last summer at Inniswoods Park. Angie, Jeff, and Anakin were all so sweet! I loved seeing these three interact. I'm not much of a "posing" photographer, which I always say up front! But I love to direct my clients in a way that makes you hopefully not feel like the camera is there, and that you're just having fun together! When I am photographing kids, I have found the best way to photograph them is to just let them be kids- Let them play! I promise these candid shots will turn out to be the favorites.

Happy Friday! How is it March? Spring is so close!! I’m hoping all of those super cold winter days are officially behind us.

Usually, I am sharing with you all the weddings and engagements and the occasional families and seniors I shoot, but today’s post is super special and something I would love to do more of: anniversaries.

Garrett and Sidney’s daughter planned a 60th wedding anniversary party for her parents and it was so perfect! After being married for just a couple of years, I finally understand why people celebrate anniversaries. Marriage is hard, y’all! But it is so incredibly worth every moment. The marriages that last until the end deserve a celebration as big as the day they got married.
