Baileigh and Nick were married in a small ceremony in her parents’ backyard last summer before Nick headed back for Army duties, but they threw a big vow renewal and celebration earlier this month in an outdoor ceremony at The Estate at New Albany. Wedding Wednesday is here again and I've got Susie and Alex's wedding on the blog today! These two are so much fun and shooting their wedding was a blast! I had Alaina from Alaina Parker Photography along as my second shooter for their day and she was so fantastic to work with!
Susie and Alex were the first couple to be married at their church (H20 Church) right here in Columbus. They had a beautiful ceremony. Susie was classically stunning in her wedding gown. We headed off to Goodale Park afterwards for portraits and even stopped at the very park bench that Alex proposed to Susie at!
These two radiated happiness all day long and they ended their perfect day (despite some rain!) at Dock 580 and danced the night away with their family and friends. Everyone was having so much fun and the party was still going strong when Alaina and I headed out!

Sharing one more senior this week! Meet Peter. This Upper Arlington senior attends the same church as me! Peter decided he wanted his photos on the water, where he has spent many summer days with his family on their boat. It was so much fun to shoot out on the marina. We had a beautiful summer sunset.
I am so blessed to photograph such wonderful young adults. When we shot these photos last summer, Peter wasn't sure where he wanted to go to school yet, or what he would major in, but he did tell me he wanted it to be WARM! I feel ya, Pete. Ready for winter to be over!

As soon as I arrived at Emily’s room at the DoubleTree Downtown, I knew they day would be full of nothing but joy. She was radiant. Everyone was so sweet, so kind. As I was prepping to shoot Emily’s pretty details (swooning over all the soft lavender), her mom introduced herself to me and said, “After reading your blog, I knew Emily had chosen the right photographer. You clearly have a passion for this. I saw it in every person you photographed.” Holy moly, Mama Bright! I’ll never forget that moment. It meant so much to have someone who had never met me before see this simply be reading my words and looking through the portraits I take. My heart was so full and it was the greatest reminder of why I love photography so much. Thank you for that.
