Oh my goodness. I have so many wonderful things to say about this incredible couple. My favorite thing about them is that Deanna and Sean have hearts on fire for Jesus, and for each other! They are so sweet, so generous, just absolutely amazing people that I am so happy to now call my friends and not just my clients! I am so honored they chose me to photograph their wedding day.

Last year, Deanna and Sean were anxiously awaiting their wedding day. Sean is originally from Alaska and Deanna is from here in Ohio, but they met in college down in Florida! I cannot tell you how excited I was for this day to finally arrive for them!

Instead of doing a first look, Deanna and Sean decided to exchange letters before their ceremony, to hold hands, but not see each other. The emotions of this moment said everything that was written in those letters. The intense love these two have was incredible to witness.

Happy FRIDAY! I love when my brides come back for maternity photos and I get to see two people in love grow their family with even more love! Do you remember these two?? I blogged their wedding over on my OLD website. You can see their wedding images here.

They met me in Columbus for their photos and when I saw Lauren's bump I was so excited for them! Baby Matthias was in there! They welcomed their sweet baby boy just a couple of weeks after these photos were taken. When you're a wedding photographer, you get to know a couple very well. I know these two are doing an amazing job as parents. I know Baby Matthias is showered in love every single day because Lauren and Will are incredible people.

Happy Wedding Wednesday all! AND Happy Valentine's Day!! THIS wedding! Oh, I am so excited to share this wedding with you. This day made my heart so happy. When I arrived in Washington Court House, I knew this wedding would be a favorite. I sure do love my county brides!

Megan and Aaron are so sweet, so kind - being in their presence just makes you so happy. Megan has the most contagious laugh! She was classically stunning. When Aaron turned around to see Megan during their first look, this was one of my favorite moments of the day!

Happy Wedding Wednesday! It's February, how did that happen?? Amanda and Matt’s outdoor summer wedding was so much fun! We started the day in downtown Columbus at The Renaissance hotel where everyone was getting ready. It is such a beautiful hotel! Now, I am a shorty, and I knew Amanda and Matt were tall, but I didn’t realize I was going to be walking into a room basically full of super models… Amanda and her maids were so gorgeous!

After her mom and sisters helped Amanda into her dress, we headed over to The Pinnacle in Grove City for the ceremony. I met Amanda and Matt’s super adorable dog Bailey during their engagement photos and y’all know how much I love the furchildren! Amanda and Matt are as obsessed with their furchild as I am with mine, so they made her a flower girl!!

Half way to Friyay! There are only a couple more days until the weekend. I am celebrating over here by sharing an engagement session I shot this past weekend!

We originally had scheduled September and James’ engagement session for Saturday evening, but we switched to Sunday morning since it rained all day on Saturday. I was super excited for a sunrise session… until I walked out of my house into the densest fog I’ve ever seen around here! Visibility was basically zero and I knew I wouldn’t be getting that awesome sunlight from the sunrise I had hoped for. BUT we made it work! Shooting in the fog ended up being really beautiful. We ventured around down to the river and back up to capitol square.

Hi friends! The wedding I am sharing with you today easily became one of my favorites - from the sweetest couple to the exquisite Club at Corazon - every detail in between had me swooning. Rachel and Eric were married this past May on what was supposed to be a rainy day. I tell you, not a drop of rain came down and the sun beamed down (sunburns and all!).

Eric saw his breathtaking bride for the first time on their wedding day in a beautiful green vineyard. From that moment on, Rachel and Eric's smiles did not leave their faces. Their happiness was contagious! I'd never seen anyone do a feet washing before and this was so humbling to witness. A true example of how marriage is intended to be.

They read their heartfelt, handwritten vows beneath the bluest sky. Both before and after the ceremony, Rachel and Eric gave me so much time for photos. I loved shooting at this venue, with these people, oh so much!

Happy Friday! You may remember Kayla and Nick's maternity sessions I did two years ago. Well, I finally got to meet Baby Brantley in the spring for his six month photos and a little family session! This babe is such a little ham!

I met the Strata's at Franklin Park Conservatory for their photos and loved catching up with these guys. Kayla and Nick had just learned they were expecting baby number two in these photos! That's right! I wanted to blog this session today because Baby Brantley is about to be a big brother any day now!

Do you remember these two?? I shot their engagement session in the fall of 2016 in my hometown! Remember that tulle skirt of Emily’s?? If you don’t, click here to see how pretty it all was!

As soon as I arrived at Emily’s room at the DoubleTree Downtown, I knew they day would be full of nothing but joy. She was radiant. Everyone was so sweet, so kind. As I was prepping to shoot Emily’s pretty details (swooning over all the soft lavender), her mom introduced herself to me and said, “After reading your blog, I knew Emily had chosen the right photographer. You clearly have a passion for this. I saw it in every person you photographed.” Holy moly, Mama Bright! I’ll never forget that moment. It meant so much to have someone who had never met me before see this simply be reading my words and looking through the portraits I take. My heart was so full and it was the greatest reminder of why I love photography so much. Thank you for that.

Happy snopocalypse Friday, friends! Since the weather channels are telling us we are going to get a boat load of snow this evening (Or no snow? What? So confused.), I wanted to share with you my first engagement shoot from 2018 because we had snow!

I met up with Kelly & Vince last year to talk about wedding photography and their plans for the big day. Kelly told me I had actually shot her nephew’s senior pictures, which was so cool because when families come back for photos, it is the biggest compliment for me.

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Meet Alyssa & Jared! These two are originally from Illinois but recently moved to Central Ohio! Jared helped us get that fancy schmancy IKEA store up and running, and for that, we are SO GRATEFUL! haha

For their spring engagement session, we started in good 'ol German Village near downtown and then headed over to Scioto Audubon for some pretty sunset portraits. Alyssa's romper/dress was so pretty... I'm still obsessed with it.
