Happy Wedding Wednesday! Last summer, I received a call from a bride inquiring about photography for her wedding she was planning for the fall. She had the most adorable accent and was so sweet! I only had one weekend off and I was planning on going to the Circleville Pumpkin show with my best friend – I haven’t been in forever! As Mo kept telling me about her plans, I knew that I really wanted to be her wedding photographer. Mo continued to tell me that the wedding had been pushed up because her father had ALS and she wanted him there to take her down the aisle, of course. The pumpkin show could absolutely wait until next year. I had to meet these incredible people.

Get this! Mo and Armando met while training horses for cutting. Armando recently decided to turn pro and compete as an Open Trainer after winning the NCHA Non Pro Triple Crown and 2016 Non Pro Horse of the Year on a horse named Watch Me Whip! How cool is that?!

Hey y’all! I celebrated my 28th birthday this past weekend and I am so grateful to my family and friends for showering me in all the love! Happy Wedding Wednesday! Do you guys remember Rachael and Sam? I blogged their summer engagement session this past winter, and today I am so excited to share the photos from their incredible fall wedding at The Barn at Backwoods in Thornville, Ohio! When Rachael told me they were getting married here, y'all know my country heart was so happy!

First, Rachael is one of my favorites ever. She seriously is so sweet and someone I just love to be around. Sam is just as awesome. You guys, these two high school sweethearts are just perfect together. See those blue earrings? Sam's mom let her boys pick out something to give their future wives when they were little kids. Rachael wore them so beautifully. They were both stunning.

Wedding Wednesday is here again and I've got Susie and Alex's wedding on the blog today! These two are so much fun and shooting their wedding was a blast! I had Alaina from Alaina Parker Photography along as my second shooter for their day and she was so fantastic to work with!

Susie and Alex were the first couple to be married at their church (H20 Church) right here in Columbus. They had a beautiful ceremony. Susie was classically stunning in her wedding gown. We headed off to Goodale Park afterwards for portraits and even stopped at the very park bench that Alex proposed to Susie at!

These two radiated happiness all day long and they ended their perfect day (despite some rain!) at Dock 580 and danced the night away with their family and friends. Everyone was having so much fun and the party was still going strong when Alaina and I headed out!

Happy Monday! Is it ever really a happy Monday? Where did the weekend go? Well I hope to brighten up your day with this amazing couple! Meet Kelly & Trent! They were a dream to photograph, at my favorite place on earth! I seriously cannot wait for their September wedding.

For their engagement session, Kelly trusted me to shoot in my hometown. It's my favorite! I know the light and I knew the beautiful scenery would be the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous couple. They drove all the way down from Sunbury! Sooo thankful when my clients trust me like this!

Kelly and Trent brought along their sweet as can be puppy Napoleon! Oh, they make the perfect little family! These two are high school sweethearts and I know their wedding is going to be amazing!

Happy FriYAY! Today I am sharing Annie & Taylor's Ohio University inspired engagement session! I think it was almost a year and a half ago when Annie first emailed me about their photos! It has been so fun getting to know these two and I am so excited for their wedding this September!

Annie & Taylor met while attending OU and got engaged at OU so we had to do engagement photos down in Athens! We stopped at the places that hold so much meaning to these two: Wilson Hall, the baseball stadium, and Court Street just to name a few! Taylor played ball for OU so getting some shots out on the field was extra fun! We ended the night out on Court Street in gold ol' OU fashion!

Sooo… It’s spring and it’s still cold. When Charissa told me she wanted summery photos, in the winter, I was like… uhmmm, girl…. It’s winter… But, challenge accepted! Charissa had her heart set on Franklin Park Conservatory and I am so glad she wanted to go here because, voila! We got summer photos in the winter. Last Friday, we arrived 45 minutes before FPC closed and so we got in and got out and it was incredible! Super thankful for this wonderful little treasure of a place right here in Columbus. AND, Charissa and Dan are basically models. They took direction so easily and sometimes I didn’t even have to cue their poses. They are actually just naturally this cute together.

Wedding Wednesday is here again and today I am sharing Britney and Jeremiah's wedding with you guys! This was my first wedding of September last year and it is definitely a favorite. I love how Britney's style really came together. Less is more really is so true! This gorgeous bride chose to keep it simple with greenery and white and every detail was absolutely beautiful.

When I pulled up to Sugar Valley Golf Club, it had rained nearly my entire drive to Bellbrook. Oh, it was so beautiful though! Rainy days make for some really amazing portraits, so don't worry a bit if it rains on your big day! When I walked in to see the bride and groom, they were both so excited for this day to be here.

They chose to exchange letters before the ceremony and Jeremiah's reaction when he saw Britney coming down the path to meet him for their ceremony was priceless! Britney you made such a beautiful bride! These guys were up for anything for their portraits and the sweet folks at Sugar Valley allowed us to run around the golf course in the rain!

Oh my goodness. I have so many wonderful things to say about this incredible couple. My favorite thing about them is that Deanna and Sean have hearts on fire for Jesus, and for each other! They are so sweet, so generous, just absolutely amazing people that I am so happy to now call my friends and not just my clients! I am so honored they chose me to photograph their wedding day.

Last year, Deanna and Sean were anxiously awaiting their wedding day. Sean is originally from Alaska and Deanna is from here in Ohio, but they met in college down in Florida! I cannot tell you how excited I was for this day to finally arrive for them!

Instead of doing a first look, Deanna and Sean decided to exchange letters before their ceremony, to hold hands, but not see each other. The emotions of this moment said everything that was written in those letters. The intense love these two have was incredible to witness.
