It’s Wedding Wednesday! I am so happy to be sharing Erin & Kyle’s engagement photos from Franklin Park Conservatory with you today! Kyle actually had me shoot their proposal, and this is so special to get to photograph their engagement and their wedding next Spring!Read More
Happy FriYAY!! My first senior of 2019 is on the blog!! I was going to wait to share this session until next week, but today is so dreary, and these images remind me of the sunshine and dreamy light we had earlier this week. They brightened my day, and I hope they’ll brighten yours! I have to confess though, I was wearing a winter coat when these were shot on Monday, and sweet Amber’s teeth were chattering!! She took the cold like a champ though, and I am so glad she braved the chilly weather and ROCKED her senior session!
I was so excited when Amber’s mom reached out to me again for photos. Originally, I wasn’t available and I was super bummed, but these guys held out (whether on purpose or not) and I am so happy we were able to make it work! I shot Amber’s sister’s senior photos a couple of years ago. Do you remember Kaycie’s session? Kaycie did Amber’s makeup for her session! Just like her sister, Amber’s model face game is STRONG. Seriously I didn’t even have to prompt Amber to get these fierce looks.Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday, everybody! Oh my goodness, we are so excited to share this engagement session with you guys today.
Emily is from Ohio and Dave is from Connecticut, and they actually met while Emily was a traveling nurse in Connecticut. Emily and Dave both told me when they met that they were not really looking for a serious relationship; Emily didn’t plan on staying in Connecticut for too long… but… before long they began to fall for each other. Totally unbeknownst to Emily, Dave planned out the details and asked Emily to marry him while they were on a cruise this past winter! They are back here in Ohio now!Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Brittney and Trey’s engagement shoot from Homestead Park! I love shooting at this park. I rarely do because it is about 45 minutes away, but I was so happy to drive out for this gorgeous couple!
Brittney and Trey met on a soccer league team. Trey was on the team with one of Brittney’s friends and she asked Brittney if she would like to join too. Such a sweet story to how they met! My favorite part of their story though is the engagement. Trey had to work hard to get Brittney to the zoo. It seemed like everything was working against him that evening, but he finally convinced Brittney that they had to go because there was a special exhibit with penguins going on that evening (sadly, this was not true haha). Trey took Brittney on a walk through “North America” and to her surprise, he proposed at the bottom of the polar bear exhibit! If you know the Columbus Zoo and you’re an animal lover, you can imagine how beautiful and romantic this was, especially for two animal lovers!
Good morning! Today I am sharing Molly & Chris' engagement session. These two are getting married in less than two months! I am so excited to be headed back to The Pinnacle in Grove City for their big day!
Molly & Chris met at a concert. Molly's friend had told her about one of the guys that would be at the concert: Chris. I asked if this was like a blind date for them, but Chris said he didn't know that Molly would be there. No matter, because obviously these two hit it off and were were meant to be!
Happy Friday! Jenn & Kyle are on the blog today! These two were so much fun to photograph.
We almost canceled due to a very rainy week, but I’m so glad they were willing to wait it out because we ended up having such a good night once the skies cleared!
I seriously laughed so much during this session… maybe it’s because Jenn and I are from the same town and went to the same high school and both my husband and Kyle are from Northeast Ohio… everything is so relatable. I love how they make each other laugh.Read More
Happy Wedding Wednesday! I shot my first wedding of the year a couple of weeks ago and I am so excited to be sharing Kelly & Vince’s gorgeous day on the blog this morning!
These two are so amazing. I love their laid-back style. Their wedding was absolutely incredible! Vince and Kelly were married at Jorgensen Farm’s new venue: Oak Grove. They were the second couple to be married here! And you guys, this place is gorgeous.
Kelly & Vince’s wedding ceremony took place in a green house! How cool is that? There was so much natural light coming in. The day began a bit chilly, but the building kept us warm. I loved watching Vince nearly lose it when he saw Kelly walking down the aisle. I think that was my favorite moment all day!Read More
Hi friends! The wedding I am sharing with you today easily became one of my favorites - from the sweetest couple to the exquisite Club at Corazon - every detail in between had me swooning. Rachel and Eric were married this past May on what was supposed to be a rainy day. I tell you, not a drop of rain came down and the sun beamed down (sunburns and all!).
Eric saw his breathtaking bride for the first time on their wedding day in a beautiful green vineyard. From that moment on, Rachel and Eric's smiles did not leave their faces. Their happiness was contagious! I'd never seen anyone do a feet washing before and this was so humbling to witness. A true example of how marriage is intended to be.
They read their heartfelt, handwritten vows beneath the bluest sky. Both before and after the ceremony, Rachel and Eric gave me so much time for photos. I loved shooting at this venue, with these people, oh so much!Read More
Happy Friday! You may remember Kayla and Nick's maternity sessions I did two years ago. Well, I finally got to meet Baby Brantley in the spring for his six month photos and a little family session! This babe is such a little ham!
I met the Strata's at Franklin Park Conservatory for their photos and loved catching up with these guys. Kayla and Nick had just learned they were expecting baby number two in these photos! That's right! I wanted to blog this session today because Baby Brantley is about to be a big brother any day now!Read More
Helloooo! I haven't blogged a wedding in FOREVER. I'm so excited to share one with you today from last spring! Jasmine and Steven met back in high school while working at a grocery store. They dated for a few years, but when Steven joined the military, life took them in separate directions. It was certainly fate that brought these two back together again down the road. Steven's eyes actually sparkle when he looks at Jasmine. They are deeply, madly in love with each other.
Jasmine and Steven were married at Columbia Hills Golf Club in Columbia Station, Ohio. Jasmine was stunning. Right when Steven saw her walking down the aisle in her WattersWToo gown, he lost it... Jasmine and Steven exchanged their own hand-written vows and had everyone attending in tears by the end of their beautiful ceremony as well. Although it rained, we were able to find breaks in the sky to venture out on the golf course for portraits. Jasmine's style is earthy and natural, and I loved all of the greens she used throughout her day, from her table displays to the succulents she and Steven gave away as guest favors.Read More
