Last week of October! Where did it go?? October is to photographers what April is to accountants. The entire month feels like one really long week to me! BUT I love this and love getting you beautiful people in front of my camera.
Today I am sharing Corrina’s senior session. Okay guys, this was a hard one to write. I started teaching Corrina ice skating when she was… I think twelve? She is now in her senior year at Pickerington North and making me feel my age. I am so proud of this sweet girl. She showed up to her senior session and she was by herself. I was like, “Did you come here alone??” She drove herself, in her own car, like a dang adult. I feel like this is a rare thing for people her age now. She has a steady job and is hoping to attend OSU next fall and study computer stuff that I don’t understand, maybe application development. Again, so stinkin’ proud of her. Also, she used to show up to skating practice half asleep and hair unbrushed and I’d be hollering at her and holy guacamole she shows up to her senior session with this sassy short hair cut perfectly fitting her personality, wearing makeup and I can’t take how beautiful. UGH.Read More

Happy Wedding Wednesday! I shot my first wedding of the year a couple of weeks ago and I am so excited to be sharing Kelly & Vince’s gorgeous day on the blog this morning!
These two are so amazing. I love their laid-back style. Their wedding was absolutely incredible! Vince and Kelly were married at Jorgensen Farm’s new venue: Oak Grove. They were the second couple to be married here! And you guys, this place is gorgeous.
Kelly & Vince’s wedding ceremony took place in a green house! How cool is that? There was so much natural light coming in. The day began a bit chilly, but the building kept us warm. I loved watching Vince nearly lose it when he saw Kelly walking down the aisle. I think that was my favorite moment all day!Read More
Slowly but surely catching up on sharing last year's photos! I mostly shoot weddings, but I love family sessions and senior sessions! So that is what I am going to be sharing this week with you guys!
I photographed this sweet little family last summer at Inniswoods Park. Angie, Jeff, and Anakin were all so sweet! I loved seeing these three interact. I'm not much of a "posing" photographer, which I always say up front! But I love to direct my clients in a way that makes you hopefully not feel like the camera is there, and that you're just having fun together! When I am photographing kids, I have found the best way to photograph them is to just let them be kids- Let them play! I promise these candid shots will turn out to be the favorites.Read More
My last senior of 2017! Nichole drove all the way down to Columbus from Stow! I told y'all I have the best clients ever!
Not only is she beautiful - her dimply smile reminds me of Ashley Wagner! If you watch ice skating, you'll know who that is! Nichole has some big plans for the future, including going to school to become a nurse practitioner.Read More
Half way through the week you guys! Almost the weekend! This weekend is going to be super awesome, too because I get to see my nephew, Oliver!
But enough about me! Remember Katie's senior session that I blogged on Monday? Well right after Katie's session, I met up with Sarah, a Newark Catholic 2017 senior! This had to be the most fun I've had during a senior session. Sarah brought along her mom, her sister, and her aunt to help her with wardrobe changes and some genuine laughter. Oh my goodness. These girls were a HOOT!Read More
